- After collecting information with regard to safety syringes, including existing or developing safety syringes, and after detailed analysis, we find that the present
products lack operational effectiveness, simplicity of use, structural soundness, and suitability for automated production.
- The leading products in the United States and Europe are either too simplistic for effectiveness (e.g., Becton-Dickinson Safety Glide Syringes) or too complicated for
low cost production (e.g., New Medical Technology's Spring-Loaded Syringe). In today's tightening medical supply market, cost is a paramount concern. Our TC30®
is safety effective and simple to construct, thereby allows for low manufacturing cost. TC30®, a Rotary Retracting Safety Syringe, is most cost
competitive with other safety syringes.
- As above mentioned, there are several worldwide competitors to our product. These products can be grouped into three categories: 1) needle covering sheath by
Becton-Dickinson; 2) spring-loaded retractable needle by New Medical Technology; and 3) manually retractable needle (non-rotary) by other Taiwanese companies. But these
three types all have shortfalls which TC30 has adequately addressed right at the beginning of its design.
- TC30®, a Rotary Retracting Type Safety Syringe, was designed to overcome the shortfalls of the existing products as stated above, therefore it is
unique in its design. TC30® has filed for patent applications with several major countries, and has been approved by many ones including USA and Japan.
Since the construction and design is totally different from the existing products, the approval of TC30's patent applications is beyond asking in many cases.
